Motorcycle enthusiasts will gather on July 6, 2016 at TREB's Newmarket office, marking the 11th year of the Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation's Annual Motorcycle Ride for Charity. This year, riders are heading north to Sudbury and their goal is to raise $25,000 for shelter.
Riders will set out from TREB's Newmarket office (45 Millard Avenue West, Newmarket), making stops at the Barrie & District Association of REALTORS®, the Muskoka Haliburton Orillia – The Lakelands Association of REALTORS®, and the North Bay Real Estate Board before reaching their final destination at the Sudbury Real Estate Board on the one-day journey.
It's through the support of thousands of REALTORS®, their friends and families, that we are privileged each year to make grants in support of shelter-related causes which give hope to those less fortunate and help them to live healthier, happier lives.
Every dollar raised from the event will go to the Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation which supports shelter-related causes, and not to administrative costs, which are paid for by the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA).
The goal for the annual ride has been to travel throughout Ontario raising the awareness of the Foundation and its goals amongst the communities, fellow REALTORS®, and real estate Boards and Associations. In keeping with that goal, the riders have now visited all of the 40 real estate Boards and Associations in Ontario.
