During the evening of Thursday, April 28, the following enhancements to TorontoMLS will become effective:

  1. Under Search, the Area, Municipality, and Community fields have been enhanced with auto-complete functionality to facilitate the typing of names, and in addition, checklist dialogs are also now available for each of these geo-area fields.
  2. For searches that employ dates, simply clicking into the date fields will now open calendar drop-downs to provide ease of date selection.
  3. When you save a search, it can now be assigned it to a specific Contact, and the search will subsequently display under that Contact's profile, while the Contact Name will also display in the table under the Saved Searches tab.
  4. A Saved Search can now have its Class, Availability, or Type (Sale/Lease) settings modified on the go, rather than having to create new searches from scratch.
  5. With new tools in the Map Search interface, multiple shapes can now be utilized, and Radius or Rectangle shapes can be easily dragged and dropped. The capability of excluding an area from a drawn shape when searching has also been introduced.
  6. In the Settings interface, the Subject Line and Body text of Property Match emails can be customized and saved as a global default which can be used for all of your Prospect Match emails.
  7. Alternatively, in the Manage Prospect interface, the Subject Line and Body text of Property Match emails for specific Prospect Searches can be customized and set, to override the global settings for that search. The default subject and text that the system utilizes for a particular Prospect Search can be viewed in the Review Prospects report window.
  8. In Send Listings, the email address field has been enhanced with auto-complete functionality.
  9. A "Search RealNet" link will now be available on residential listings (for sale) and commercial listings (for sale) found in Stratus (including Unavailable and Archived listings). Clicking on the link will send you to a map search page which displays RealNet new home developments with available inventory or historic commercial sales transactions within a 2 km radius of your subject property of interest. A "Search Altus InSite" link will now be available on Office and Industrial lease/sublease listings found in Stratus.
