Canada Post is advising customers that a work stoppage is possible as of July 2, 2016.
In the event of a full labour disruption, Canada Post will not operate. Mail and parcels will not be delivered, and no new items will be accepted. Any mail and parcels within the postal system during a work disruption will be secured and delivered as quickly as possible once operations resume.
To ensure delivery prior to a possible service disruption, customers are encouraged to send items on or before the dates below. Items sent after these dates could be held in the postal system. Please confirm the applicable service standards in your shipping system before inducting your shipment.
Please continue to monitor media reports for further updates.
