Tomorrow, we kick off two days of learning, growth and professional development at Canada's largest real estate trade show and conference at the Toronto Congress Centre.

Spring Annual Meeting & Elections

Come check out our Spring Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m. in Hall B. It will feature a keynote address from renowned tech experts Amber Mac and Marc Saltzman that kicks off 38 other great Learning Quest sessions. Amber and Marc will translate geek speak into street speak in their discussion of "10 Ways to Use Technology to Grow Your Real Estate Business in 2016 & Beyond."

If you plan on casting your vote for our 2016/2017 Board of Directors election in person, you can do so between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in the RQ Theatre, prior to the start of Spring Annual Meeting business in Hall B.

The Latest Technology

Head on over to the new Innovation Centre where Live Drone Demos will take place on both days courtesy of The Sky Guys Inc. You'll also be able to interact with other emerging technologies, including 3D Virtual Imaging with Invent Dev Inc. and IoT technologies such as Beacons with Four Walls Digital Marketing.

Interested in learning more about the emerging technologies mentioned above? Then you won't want to miss "Futures: Emerging Technologies for Real Estate and the Real World" hosted by Discovery Canada's Daily Planet co-host Dan Riskin on Thursday, May 5 at 10:30 a.m. in Hall C. The session will feature technology demos as well.

Networking Opportunities

One of the best things about REALTOR® QUEST is the networking opportunities it presents, and nowhere is the networking opportunity so great as at our Make the Connection 2016Networking Event & Cocktail Reception. Join us on Wednesday, May 4 at 4:30 p.m. in Hall B and connect with your colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere while listening to the sounds ofShakey & the Blue Notes and up-and-coming country artist Augusta Ray.

World Class Speakers

What about those 38 other Learning Quest sessions, you ask? Well, you'll hear from a bevy of experts on diverse topics.

Fab Dolan, Head of Marketing, Google Canada, will share how technology is redefining what's possible on Wednesday, May 4 at 3:30 p.m. in Hall C.

We keep on hearing how millennials are shifting cultural norms, and Lead, Follow or Get Out of the Way: The Ultimate Guide to Leadership in the New World of Business author Greg Witz, will explain how we can capitalize on this shift in his talk, Bridging the Generations: Create Effective Interactions with Every Generation on Wednesday, May 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the Cohen Ballroom.

Want to know the 7 Deadly Sins of Sales? On Wednesday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m. in Hall C,Leigh Brown, a RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and renowned public speaker, will be on hand to fill you in. Take a look at what she has to say here:

Luke Williams, author of Disrupt: Think the Unthinkable to Spark Transformation in Your Business will discuss the power of disruptive thinking on Thursday, May 5 at 1:00 p.m. in Hall C.

D.A.N.G.E.R. Report author Stefan Swanepoel will discuss the dangers impacting brokers and the dangers impacting agents on Thursday, May 5 at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., respectively. Both sessions will be held in Hall B.

House & Home Magazine's Lynda Reeves will also be on hand on Wednesday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. in Hall B to discuss the new meaning of home, with a special focus on how the values of millennials are driving the market. Watch a message from Lynda:

Other attractions to check out include the Trade Show, which features over 250 exhibitors;Health Quest, which will offer a variety of complimentary wellness services; the TREB Pavilion, where you'll find the answers to your questions about TREB services; Centre Stage, which features a variety of events, prize giveaways, games and entertainment; and the CREA Canadian Commercial Forum, which will feature discussions on the hottest topics impacting the commercial real estate industry.

Members of TREB, BREB and DRAR can participate in any of the Commercial Forum sessions when attending this year's REALTOR® QUEST. All other commercial delegates are required to register in advance by visiting the Events section of realtorquest.ca.

Admission to REALTOR® QUEST is free for all TREB, BREB and DRAR Members who show proof of membership at the door. No pre-registration is required. All other licensed real estate professionals can register here.
