The Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) is holding a webinar for the real estate sector on March 21 in English and March 29 in French. Presentations are scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. EST.
Learn more about money laundering in the real estate sector, including how brokers and agents can best fulfill their obligations under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act. FINTRAC representatives will also speak about how the Centre uses the information it receives from the real estate sector to support the investigations of its law enforcement and national security partners.
