unicipal sign by-laws regulate all aspects of signs and are intended to preserve the safety and appearance of our communities. Sign by-laws preserve the beauty of our communities by limiting the placement, duration, type and number of all signs. Without sign by-laws, our streets, public spaces and private property would be littered with a variety of signs.
So, let's keep our communities attractive! TREB encourages Members to review York Region's sign by-laws to ensure compliance. Click here to review the municipal sign by-law.
